David Jones- Principal Owner

David Jones is the current owner of Junie Insurance, and spent over 15 years in the utility industry before corporate decisions pushed him to a crossroads in his career.

After much career consideration and spiritual support from many, David soon realized that assisting and servicing clients’ needs was his best strength.

After gaining three years as a multi-line insurance agent with both independent and captive insurance agencies, David took a leap of faith by opening a scratch insurance agency on January 1st, 2013, in the town square of Winchester, IN.

In August of 2017, the Agency moved on up to the East side of town at their current location on Washington Street in Winchester.

David earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and has been a licensed property and casualty and life and health insurance agent since 2009.

When he is not focused hard at work, he enjoys spending time with Sarah, along with his son Brady who is in the Navy, and his daughter Addysen. They reside in Randolph County in the Parker City area.

A family member offered him some inspirational words and a “Make it Happen” coffee mug, which ultimately led him to where he is today. The coffee mug stated the following phrases as an influence on his decision:

“What would you do if money didn’t matter?”
“What would you do if you knew how much we believe in you?”
“What would you be if you could be anything you wanted?”
“What would you attempt if you knew you would not fail?
